KIOSK K67

Personal Project

KIOSK K67 is a research-led editorial project about the iconic modular kiosk designed by Saša J. Mächtig in 1966. Sparked by a personal encounter at Spitalfields Market, the publication explores how a small public structure became a symbol of adaptability, community and urban memory. The book translates the K67’s modular logic into its own visual system, using fragmented text blocks, image spreads, diagrams and structured white space. Rather than presenting the kiosk as a nostalgic object, the project reevaluates it as a model for flexible, accessible and socially responsive design.
