Insight

People are more likely to choose sustainable mobility when it feels connected to something they already trust and use. If the car key, a symbol of driving, can become a gateway to public transport, the shift feels less like giving something up and more like extending the journey.

Idea

Volvo turns Volvo car keys into public transport passes. By allowing drivers to tap their keys on buses, trains and other transit systems, Volvo encourages more sustainable travel while redefining what a car brand can do beyond the car itself.

Out of Home

The OOH places Transit directly within public transport environments, from buses and bus stops to underground stations. By showing a Volvo key being tapped like a travel card, the visuals make the idea instantly understandable. One key can unlock a more sustainable way to move through the city.
